Lille did not miss their debut in the Conference League group stage this Wednesday evening.

Opposed to Olimpija Ljubljana this Wednesday to open the group stage of the Conference League, Losc did not tremble. Ultra-dominant, the Mastiffs got the better of the Slovenes with a score of 2-0. A minimum given their overall performance, somewhat tarnished by David’s clumsiness in front of the opposing goal.

However, it was the Canadian international who opened the scoring, from the penalty spot just before the break (1-0, 43e). The result of a one-sided match in favor of the Northerners, who barely suffered more than a shot on target on the cage guarded by Chevalier. To make the break, however, Lille had to wait until added time in the second act.

The man in good shape of the moment in the ranks of Losc – Yazici – back in favor after a long slump, was responsible for giving more substance to this logical and meritorious victory (2-0, 90e+4). And Lille is already taking control of its group while awaiting the debates between Slovan Bratislava and the Faroese of Klaksvik.
