For the match against Slovenia, Thierry Henry generally trusted the same men who beat Denmark.

This Monday, at 6 p.m., the French junior team begins its Euro qualifying journey. She plays away against an intriguing Slovenian team. For this match, Thierry Henry chose not to change anything compared to the team that had been lined up against Denmark.

Henry focuses on stability

You don’t change a winning team, this must be the credo of the new Bleuets coach. The eleven players who were started in Nancy are therefore again for this qualifying match.

The first to pay the price is Elye Wahi. Although he made a good start against the Danes, the neo-Lensois is once again a substitute. He was again preferred to Arnaud Kalimuendo. Parisian Bradley Barcola is also aligned in attack in a 4-3-1-2 system while Rayan Cherki plays the role of playmaker.

In the midfield, Lepenant, first scorer against Denmark, is present again. He is accompanied by Ugochukwu as well as captain Warren Zaire-Emery.

In defense, Henry trusts the quartet which performed well at Marcel-Picot. The Merlin, Lukeba, Matsimo and Gusto are therefore all renewed. Finally, in the goals it is the very promising Remains which is launched.

The Bleuets starting lineup:

Leftovers; Matsima, Lukeba, Gusto, Merlin; Zaire-Emery, Ugochukwu, Lepenant; Cherki, Barcola, Kalimuendo.
