While Duván Zapata (32) struggled to reach an agreement with Torino and thus blocked the exchange involving Alessandro Buongiorno (24) and Brandon Soppy (21), discussions between all parties accelerated well this Wednesday evening. The two Italian clubs are now optimistic and confident to finalize the deal before Friday evening, the deadline for the summer transfer window in Italy. According to our information, the Granata will therefore welcome the Colombian striker and the French side with an additional envelope of around 17 million euros, while the Dea will strengthen its central defense with the Italian international. Moreover, the sporting director Davide Vagnati has left the file of the Belgian striker Divock Origi on hold.

Indeed, the native of Cali was still too greedy with the Piedmontese management by demanding a three-season contract and a salary of 3 million euros to leave Bergamo. But during the last hours, the two camps have agreed to make some sacrifices in order to get along: according to our indiscretions, the Colombian has agreed to lower his demands with a salary of 2.5 million euros, while Torino did not oppose the three-year term in the lease desired by the former Napoli and Sampdoria striker. As a reminder, Alessandro Buongiorno already has a pre-agreement with the Dea for a contract until 2028, as does Brandon Soppy for his loan in Piedmont. Everything should therefore be completed on Thursday.
