Lazio Rome and AC Milan faced each other this Saturday for a meeting which promised to be particularly competitive. The locals quickly took control by imposing high pressure. Cancellieri rewarded this good start to the match by opening the score in the 10th minute (1-0). Despite the Milanese reaction, Maignan had to work to avoid the break before Tijjani Noslin doubled the lead just before the break (39th, 2-0).
Upon returning from the locker room, AC Milan returned with much better intentions. The entries of Diego Moreira and Yunus Musah changed the face of the Rossoneri, who gradually cornered Lazio. Moreira reduced the gap in the 65th minute before scoring twice two minutes later, off a pass from Adrien Rabiot (2-2).
AC Milan then pushed to snatch the victory and created several chances, without managing to make the difference. The pace finally dropped in the final minutes and the two teams parted in a spectacular draw (2-2).
