The Endrick clan raises their voices. While speculation around a new loan from the winter transfer window is increasing, the Brazilian striker’s entourage has clearly sent a message to Madrid management: the 20-year-old wants playing time. In an interview with SportsBoomMichael Yormack, president of Roc Nation Sports International, the agency that represents the player, explained that his future would depend in particular on his use over the coming weeks.
With only 106 minutes played since the start of the season, including a start against Roma in the Champions League, the ex-Lyonnais was largely decisive in allowing Real Madrid to overthrow La Louve. “I think it’s an evolving process. I think we need to see how things evolve between now and the end of the year, before the next transfer window.”he declared, before highlighting the recent encouraging signs, and hoping that it continues on this good momentum.
Those around him ask for more playing time
The Brazilian’s representative, however, insisted on the need to offer him more opportunities, having recently visited Endrick in Madrid. “We had a great conversation, he’s extremely talented and he really wants to play, so we’ll see what happens. He loves Madrid, he loves the team and his teammates, but in the end, when you think about the lifespan of a career, it is short, and he wants to make the most of it.”continued Yormack, before specifying: “I think his first choice would be to stay at Real Madrid, but he has to play”.
Because despite recent appearances which could weigh in the decision of the club and its entourage, the hypothesis of a new loan in January remains current. Under contract with Real Madrid until 2030, Endrick has not announced his final departure, but the rest will largely depend on the confidence that José Mourinho will place in him over the coming weeks. Especially during the next Clásico, where the young striker could benefit from another opportunity to show himself.
