For Paolo Vanoli’s first on the bench, the young Argentine on loan from Real Madrid turned the match around by scoring two sumptuous strikes from the left in quick succession (29th, 30th), from outside the area, to bring down the Venetian defense.
Unstoppable, the Viola prodigy completed his evening by scoring a hat-trick to seal his team’s victory at the very end of the match (84th). A coup which puts an end to a dark series of three defeats in a row and allows the Florentines to finally unlock their counter in the championship.
