Théo Hernandez has obviously not completely turned the page on AC Milan. While the Rossoneri have just launched their 2026-2027 season with a victory at Torino, the left side of Al-Hilal made a remarkable gesture on social networks. The French international indeed retweeted the AC Milan publication celebrating the success of Mike Maignan and his teammates. A necessarily surprising gesture after his particularly eventful departure from the Lombard club this summer, when the player had clearly indicated that he no longer wished to return while certain people were still in place.

“As long as certain people are here, I won’t come back, I deserved better treatment”had notably let go of Théo Hernandez when he left. Since then, the Milan organizational chart has undergone several important changes, with a new sporting direction and a new project around Ruben Amorim. Could this context ultimately change the Frenchman’s position? It is obviously difficult to draw conclusions from a simple retweet, but this small gesture did not go unnoticed in Italy and could fuel questions about the relationship now maintained by Théo Hernandez with his former club.
