Recruited this winter by Chelsea from Strasbourg (then loaned until this summer with the Alsatian club), Emanuel Emegha was quick to stand out in his new colors. The Dutch striker found the net during the Blues’ victory against Crawley (3-1) in a friendly match played behind closed doors at the Cobham training center. An encouraging first achievement for the man who is expected to be one of the new offensive assets of the London club.
Chelsea opened the scoring just before the break thanks to Jamie Gittens, before accelerating in the second half. Emanuel Emegha then scored his first goal with the Blues before Liam Delap sealed the success of Xabi Alonso’s men who therefore began his mandate with a victory. A successful start for the former Strasbourg resident, who ideally launches his London adventure.
