Arsenal are on the verge of signing Christos Tzolis. According to The Athleticthe Gunners and Club Bruges are very close to reaching an agreement for the transfer of the 24-year-old Greek winger. The operation could reach 40 million euros, excluding bonuses, which would make Tzolis the biggest sale in the history of the Jupiler Pro League, ahead of Charles De Ketelaere (€37.5 million).
Club Bruges would realize a huge added value, having spent only 6.5 million euros to recruit Tzolis in the summer of 2024 from Fortuna Düsseldorf. The Greek international has already reached a personal agreement with Arsenal on a five-year contract. In 108 matches for Bruges, Tzolis scored 43 goals and provided 45 assists.
