Manchester City and Leicester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jeremy Monga for €14.6 million, plus a resale clause, announces The Athletic. New City manager Enzo Maresca is behind the club’s attempt to sign Monga, who he has known since his time in charge of Leicester in the 2023-24 season.
Jérémy Monga is considered a great English promise and he has already appeared 27 times in the Championship with Leicester last season, at just 16 years old! Left winger, he was notably followed by Arsenal, who gave up before the price demanded by Leicester. Manchester City did not want to miss their chance.
