The rapper Orelsan returns to the rumors which would have linked him to Kylian Mbappé, as part of the takeover of the Stade Malherbe in Caen.

A year ago, Kylian Mbappé became a shareholder of Stade Malherbe de Caen via his investment fund Coalition Capital. An adventure which did not start under the best auspices: the Norman club was relegated to the National last season. Despite the criticism aimed at Mbappé and his entourage for the management of the club, some supporters remain loyal to SM Caen, like the rapper Orelsan.

His name had been mentioned as a potential associate of the Mbappé clan during the takeover of the club, but Orelsan wanted to clarify the situation: “Rumors”he told
The Teamspecifying that he had never met the Real Madrid striker. The artist added: “When he became a shareholder in Caen, he arrived at Real. I had my film which was taking up my time. It's not my priority. Already, if the club could come back, that would be good. I also try to stay in my place. »

Even after the club came down, Orelsan continued to follow the SMC attentively. Taken by the promotion of his film Yoroi, he has not yet been able to return to the stadium this season, but watched the Norman derby Caen-Rouen (1-1) on YouTube on Tuesday evening rather than Bayer Leverkusen-PSG (2-7) in the Champions League: “I like this club more than football. »

The artist does not wish to get involved in sports management, but says he is open to a role in communications: “One day I would really like to get involved. But more on communications, for example…” He also recognizes his modest relationship with football: “Before a match, I only have a shitty opinion. If I have any mini-concepts, it’s thanks to the game FIFA…”
