Paris Saint-Germain is stalling for its return to Ligue 1. This Friday evening, at the opening of the 8th day, the club from the capital failed to win in front of its audience at the Parc des Princes against RC Strasbourg (3-3).

A draw which does not really suit the Rouge et Bleu who could lose the lead in the standings at the end of the day in the event of a victory for Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais.

Starting in the Parisian cage, Lucas Chevalier did not really convince against the RCSA. Despite a double save at the start of the match on Joaquin Panichelli and Julio Enciso, the French goalkeeper is not exempt from all criticism for the second Strasbourg goal scored by Diego Moreira (1-2, 41st). The former Lille player lacked responsiveness.

An error which does not leave a 1998 world champion indifferent. “For the moment, the suit is too big for him. The Chevalier du Lille OSC would not have taken the first two goals,” launched Lionel Charbonnier in the show l'After Football.

Bounce back against Bayer Leverkusen

Lucas Chevalier has had a checkered debut under his new colors. The French international has struggled to completely seduce observers since his arrival in the squad of the 2025 European champions.

The Frenchman will, however, have the opportunity to make up for it this Tuesday during the 3rd day of the league phase of the Champions League on the pitch at Bayer Leverkusen. A European match where he will try to silence the skeptics towards him. See you in Germany…
