End of a thorny file on the side of Juventus. Nottingham Forest reached an agreement with the old lady to welcome Douglas Luiz. The 27 -year -old Brazilian international arrives in the form of a loan with an obligation to purchase conditioned on his number of premier League appearances. In the event of non-compliance with this quota, Forest still keeps the possibility of making the final transfer for around 30 million euros. Arrived last summer at Juventus from Aston Villa for € 50 million, Douglas Luiz failed to win, with only 27 appearances all competitions, of which only three tenure in Serie A.
This recruitment is part of a particularly lively transfer window on the side of Nottingham Forest. The East Midlands club has already completed the arrivals of Hutchinson, Mcatee, Igor Jesus, Cairo, Kalimuendo and Ndoye, while continuing its efforts to recruit Rico Lewis in Manchester City. With Douglas Luiz, Nottingham Forest relies on an experience reinforcement in the midfield to support his ambitious project of maintenance and progression in PL.
