Manchester is competing for a former Lille player, Carlos Baleba. Manchester United and Manchester City closely follow the 21 -year -old Cameroonian midfielder, a real revelation last season in Brighton. Under the orders of Fabian Hürzeler, Baleba has established himself as a pillar of the Seagulls with 40 appearances. A yield that pushes Brighton to set an XXL price: 120 million euros according to Espn. Pep Guardiola has long appreciated his profile, while in United, interest could materialize if several sales are confirmed. However, no contact has been established for the moment.

Brighton does not intend to sell off his jewel, especially after seeing his former talents leave for records: Moists Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, Ben White or even Alexis Mac Allister. If Baleba were to leave Brighton, Lille would pocket 20 % of any amount greater than 30 million euros, a sum invested in 2023. For the time being, the player says he is happy in Brighton, but a hectic summer is not to be excluded if the two Manchester take action for the native of Douala.
