The summer of PSG, despite the defeat in the final of the World Cup of clubs against Chelsea, remains marked by an exceptional assessment and carrying hope. After winning a historic Champions League as well as an unprecedented national quadruple, the club has shown that it could reach summits hitherto unrivaled. This defeat certainly slows down this momentum a little, but it must not obscure the immense progress and the solidity displayed by the team. PSG therefore arrives at the new season with reinforced confidence, ready to capitalize on these successes to continue to reign in Europe and France.

In this context, the formalization of the arrival of Lucas Chevalier, a young talented goalkeeper, fits perfectly into the desire to build the future while managing the tensions linked to the extension of Gianluigi Donnarumma, a hot but crucial file for the stability of the group. The imminent arrival of Illya Zabarnyi also strengthens a defense in search of stability. On the transfer window side, PSG is activated to develop its workforce with the sales files of players like Kolo Muani, Skriniar, Soler, Asensio or Sanches, in a logic of sporting and financial optimization, in order to approach next season with an ever more competitive and ambitious team. PSG must degrease to make room and balance its accounts, while each transfer promises to be crucial in the construction of the team. The next objective will be marked by the European Super Cup in 3 days in Udine against Tottenham.

Paris will review its plans!

This is a terrible news that falls like a blow for PSG: João Neves, pillar of the midfielder, finds himself suspended against Tottenham in European Super Cup and then against Nantes in Ligue 1, because of this red card received in the final of the Club World Cup. An absence with a heavy consequences, especially at a key moment in the season when each player counts. The club has to face this unexpected sanction, which weakens its organization and upsets its tactical plans.

Faced with this difficulty, PSG had to react urgently by setting up a suitable program to compensate for this crucial void in the middle. The sports management and the technical staff now work tirelessly to adjust the workforce and prepare the team to collect this hard blow, while hoping that the suspension will not weigh too heavy on the club's ambitions. But the absence of João Neves is a real blow, a thorn in the foot which could well cost dear in the next deadlines.
