It is the race for millions at FC Barcelona. The Catalan club seeks to renegotiate its main sponsorship contract with Spotify, which runs until June 30, 2026 and currently reports around 65 million euros per season, potentially enhanced at 70 million via bonuses, as well as an additional 5 million for the rights to name Camp Nou (going to 20 million annual from 2026). For its part, the Swedish firm has a unilateral option to extend the agreement from 2026 to 2030 (with an increase of € 10 million), then possibly up to 2034 with a new increase of € 10 million, to reach up to € 80 million annually.

But strong of their recent sporting success, the Blaugranas estimate that in 2025, the real value of the jersey now exceeds € 120 million per season, carried by the global influence of Barça, its record sales of derivative products and the growing influence of young talents like Spanish Lamine Yamal (18). After SportAfter conducting market studies via its sales department, the Barcelona management believes that it could obtain better proposals than those planned in the unilateral extension option of the musical streaming giant. The club says it is ready to reopen discussions, or even listen to other competing proposals. An approach similar to that recently adopted in the Nike file, with which Barça extended after having analyzed an offer from Puma.
