The meeting is set for football enthusiasts, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan will compete in the Champions League final on May 31 at the Allianz Arena in Munich. And when approaching this ultimate shock on the European scene, a former player of the Parisian club wanted to send a warning message to his former team.

Marco Simone, former Italian international who passed through PSG between 1997 and 1999, underlined the assets of the Nerazzurri.
“Inter is a modern team that does not only play very well, with a favorite system in 3-5-2, I think it also has a physical strength superior to PSG”said the native of Castellanza.

A decisive advantage for Inter

For Simone, the overwhelming workforce of Inter is far from a trivial detail. While the average age of the Paris group is around 24, that of the Inter amounts to 30 years. A factor which he does not consider as a handicap, in particular with regard to the management operated by Simone Inzaghi.

“Mkhital and Calhanoglu, it is true that they have an advanced age, but it is the engine of this team. If we take these three with Barella who is certainly less large, their physical impact … and it is not only the starting eleven. When we see the replacements they have available, that's for me the physical impact. On this aspect, they may have more possibilities than PSG ”concluded the former striker.
