The France 24 and RFI media lifted the veil on Monday on the three finalists contenders for the Marc-Vivien Foé 2025 trophy. A prize awarded each year to the best African player playing in Ligue 1 and whose holder is none other than the Gabonese and former Marseillais Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The three final candidates are the Strasbourg midfielder Habib Diarra (four goals and four assists in 28 games), the Nice striker Evann Guessand (11 goals and six assists in 31 matches) and the Paris defender Achraf Hakimi (four goals and six assists in 24 games). Verdict on May 12.
