Hard blow for Bayern Munich, who lost two players to injury a few minutes apart this Saturday in the Klassiker. The first to have been forced to leave his partners was none other than Ismael Saibari. After missing a face-to-face in front of Kobel, the Moroccan international (36 caps) tried to recover the ball, but ran into the goalkeeper. On this action, his knee and ankle suffered a worrying twist. Unable to continue the match, the attacking midfielder immediately had to give up his place.

And the bad news didn’t stop there for the Bavarians. A few minutes later, Serge Gnabry found himself on the ground, visibly injured. The German international (62 caps) was unable to return to the game and also had to leave the pitch. Two injuries in quick succession which inevitably cause concern at Bayern Munich when the infirmary is already very full.
