The adventure starts well for Thomas Tuchel. For the beginnings of the German technician as a coach, England provided the essentials against Albania (2-0), this Friday evening, at the opening of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

It is one of the little new ones called by Tuchel, Myles Lewis-Skelly, who opened the scoring for Three Lions (20th). And it was Captain Harry Kane who sheltered his team at the end of the game (77th).

The score is not impressive, but England did not tremble in this match, with 75% of the ball possession, and no shot on Albania. In a group K where we will also find Serbia, the teammates of Jude Bellingham will chain Monday against Latvia, which for its part imposed in Andorra (0-1).
