It has been almost 25 years since he has disappeared from the world of football since his last adventure on the bench of Parma. The Italian legend, Arrigo Sacchi is seriously planning to regain service and thus find a bench. At 78, he is not satisfied and wants to regain the pleasure of leading to the high level: “I think I come back to the field, in Italy or abroad. I had a lot of offers. I do not know if I do it in Italy because I love this country too much, only I have a defect, I say what I think and therefore sometimes I must say what I think of us. And that, I regret saying it. And so I try to avoid. I am asked to go for example to Brazil, Argentina, Spain. And so many other countries». Sacchi's last adventure as a coach dates back to 2001: in 1999, he had already announced his retirement after his departure from Atletico de Madrid, but two years later, he had accepted the Parma bench where he had trained only a few days.

He had thus resigned for certain health problems linked to the nervous tension he felt during the matches. He was subsequently the technical coordinator of the national young teams, U-21 to U-16, from August 4, 2010 to July 30, 2014. The name of Arrigo Sacchi is mainly linked to Milan, of which he becomes the coach (to everyone's surprise) in 1987 on the orders of Silvio Berlusconi. The Emilian coach revolutionized Italian football with his attacking game and won the championship in the 1987/88 season, an Italian Supercup in 1989, two Champions League in 1989 and 1990, two intercontinental cups in 1989 and 1990 , but also two European supercups in 1989 and 1990. At the head of the Italian national team, he lost the final of the 1994 World Cup in the United States against Brazil.
