This Thursday, the Khvicha Kvaratskhelia file quickly got carried away on the Italian side with PSG which quickly advanced. The capital club, which had shown great interest this summer without materializing, returned to the charge this winter against all expectations. The Parisian management took advantage of the lack of progress in this issue between Naples and its star. The Italian club has been trying to extend him for several months now and despite financially attractive offers, the 23-year-old winger has not yet responded to his club.

Enough to start seriously questioning your future. The Italian press explained in particular that from now on, Naples was open to a departure and that Antonio Conte, who wanted to keep him upon his arrival, no longer considered him as an essential element of the Neapolitan attack. As a result, while we might have thought that the Georgian international could leave this summer, it is now likely that he will pack his bags this winter. In this sense, we revealed to you that PSG was clearly discussing a transfer of the player with Naples.

A difference of at least 40 million compared to this summer

The Parisian management notably offered Milan Skriniar to lower the transfer fee in addition to a nice sum of money. For the moment, it is the salary of the Slovenian defender which poses a problem since the player who has an XXL salary in Paris will necessarily earn less if he returns to Serie A. Skriniar would like the difference in salary to be compensated by PSG. The ball is now in Napoli’s court who will have to make a decision with Kvara. But with this deal PSG would lower a surprising transfer fee a little more.

Indeed, according to information from the Italian press, Naples has set the price of Kvaratskhelia at less than 80 million euros. A sum very far from that claimed 6 months ago by the management of the Italian club. This summer, President De Laurentiis wanted at least 120 million euros for his star under contract until June 2027 and author of 5 goals since the start of the season. A price which is therefore surprising and which obviously suits PSG which could compensate for this transfer with a sale of Randal Kolo Muani for example. But at this price, the French club should also have competition on this issue, particularly in England…
