Arriving this summer from Stade Rennais for the sum of 23 million euros, French midfielder Enzo Le Fée is currently struggling to establish himself within the Italian club. Seduced by the Roman project by Daniele De Rossi (since ousted), the former hake has difficulty entering into the plans of Claudio Ranieri who nevertheless predicts a brilliant future for him.
During a press conference, the Italian manager did not hesitate to send nice words to his player comparing him to a legend of world football. “II am convinced that he can follow a Pirlo trajectory: starting as an attacking midfielder and ending up as a playmaker in front of the defense,” he told journalists. Reassuring words for the rest of the season but at this moment the Frenchman is still confined to the substitutes’ bench.
Since his arrival at the club, the former number 10 of Lorient has only played 9 matches in all competitions for 6 starts. The midfielder also started in Roma’s last outing in Serie A on Como (defeat with a score of 2 goals to 0).
