During the derby between Manchester City and Manchester United, won by the Red Devils (2-1), one action particularly stood out. At the end of the match, Kyle Walker attempted a simulation by throwing himself to the ground, pretending to have been injured by Rasmus Hojlund.

Both players received yellow cards, but the 21-year-old Dane did not stop there. On his social media, Hojlund posted a mocking post calling Walker an actor, saying:
“The Oscar goes to…”. A spike which ignited the web and strengthened the rivalry between the two Mancunian clubs.

A derby under high tension, City collapses

The match changed in the last five minutes, as Manchester City, although dominant and leading 1-0 until the 88th minute, conceded two goals in quick succession. A defeat which left Bernardo Silva furious: “We deserved what happened. With these stupid decisions, we only have ourselves to blame,” he lamented on Sky Sports.

This result aggravates the crisis of the Citizens, now 5th in the Premier League, nine points behind leader Liverpool, while Manchester United is regaining color in a complicated season.
