Torino: the historic start to the season for the surprising Serie A leaders

Torino offers its soft stomach duel. Traveling to Empoli this Friday, on the occasion of the 16th day of Serie A, the Piedmontese won 1-0 and put an end to an endless series of 6 matches without a victory. The only goal of the match was scored by Che Adams, the former Southampton striker (70th, 0-1).

A success which allows Torino to stabilize in the middle of the ranking, in 11th place, and tied on points with their evening opponent, but 10th thanks to goal difference. As a reminder, Serie A continues with two more championship days until the end of 2024, unlike Ligue 1 whose break will begin after this weekend.
