The Football Observatory (CIES) published this Wednesday a report on the results of clubs on transfers over the period 2015-2024. LOSC has the best record over the last decade, with net revenues of 384 million euros. The northern club spent 234 million euros on recruitment, while generating 617 million in sales. Lille is followed by Ajax Amsterdam (+289 M) and RB Leipzig (+288 M). Eintracht Frankfurt (+243M) and Atalanta Bergamo (+236M) complete the top 5. Stade Rennais ranks 25th with a more modest record.
Conversely, Paris Saint-Germain recorded the largest deficit in the world, with 646 million euros in deficits, in particular because of the acquisitions of Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Junior. Manchester United (-584 M) and Chelsea (-580 M) complete this podium with the Parisian club, while FC Barcelona (-368 M) and Tottenham (-311 M) are respectively 4th and 5th. Note that players from the training center are not taken into account in these two rankings.
