Before two very promising Champions League evenings, several teams were on deck this Monday in the championship. This was particularly the case for Venice, last tied (9 points), and Lecce, penultimate (10 points), in Serie A. A crucial meeting for the two teams.

After a goalless first period (0-0), Lecce ended up finding the fault in the 70th thanks to Patrick Dorgu (0-1). A goal which allowed the visitors to take the three points and move up to 15th place in the standings. For its part, Venice is sinking into crisis.
