Other trails are being studied, including the one leading to Kees Smit (AZ Alkmaar). Finally, regarding Álvaro Arbeloa, the future will directly depend on the next results, he who lost credit with his locker room this week. Despite the latest results, the club wants to be patient and ensures that no contact has been made with another coach at this stage. Real Madrid therefore wants to give its new manager time, while preparing major maneuvers for next summer.
