This Saturday afternoon, Mallorca received the Deportivo Alavés as part of the seventh day of Liga. Eighteenth at the start with only three points, the Jagoba Arrasate team was keen to offer their first victory in the elite of Spanish football this season. This is done, since the bermellones have imposed themselves on the lawn of the Moix sound by the smallest of the margins (1-0).

Mallorca opened the scoring thanks to Takuma Asano in the 37th minute. Following a pretty one with the young Marc Domènech, the Japanese concluded the action by deceiving the opposing goalkeeper with a well-placed strike. A goal that will have been enough to seal the fate of the meeting. The visitors pushed the return of the locker room, but lacked realism. Alone inside the surface, Carles Aleñá sent the ball widely above the Majorquine cage (51st), while Carlos Vicente saw his attempt stopped by the porter Leo Román (79th), after the failure of Lucas foured at close range (64th). Despite this result, Mallorca remains relegated first at present. Alavés occupies tenth place.
