Crowned club of the year at the Ballon d’Or ceremony, for the second year in a row, Paris Saint-Germain logically benefited from its status as double reigning European champion to get ahead of its rivals. At the end of the evening, President Nasser al-Khelaïfi issued a press release to welcome the success of the capital club.
