Luis Enrique does not deviate from his course of action. Three days after the heroic qualification of PSG against Arsenal, the Spanish technician surprised by making a strong decision: fully turning his workforce for the trip to Montpellier. While some expected to see some executives maintain the pace, the Parisian coach took the side of freshness, youth and prudence. An unexpected eleven that contrasts with the intensity of the Champions League semi-final.

A very exposed PSG youth

In fact, it is a real bottle class that has been aligned. Safonov in the goals, protected by a defense with four composed of Zague, Tapé, Beraldo and Lucas Hernandez. The latter, in search of buyout, finds a place of holder. In the middle, Kang-in Lee is supervised by Mayulu and Zaïre-Emery, the only usual rescue of the midfield. In attack, Mbaye and Barcola occupy the wings, while Ramos, announced on departure, leads the line.

Gonçalo Ramos has yet another opportunity to show up.

This massive rotation is not a total surprise. With the title of champion already acquired and a final of the Champions League to prepare, Enrique chose to preserve his soldiers. Donnarumma, Marquinhos, Hakimi, Mendes, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz… All were spared. They will not resume collective training until Wednesday. The objective is clear: to arrive on May 31 in the best physical and mental conditions.

A life -size test

But this very young composition also has a risk. Paris remains on two liggles in Ligue 1 and a new underperformance would slightly tarnish the dynamics. The Spanish coach therefore recovers his young people, while keeping on the bench some experienced cartridges such as Kvaratskhelia, Joao Neves, Goué or Dembélé.

For Ramos, Barcola, Kang-in or Tapped, this meeting is also the opportunity to score points. Failing to start in the final, some could invite themselves in the plans of Luis Enrique. It is up to them to prove that they can be more than simple liners. The message is clear: room for youth, but with requirement.
