For several seasons, Dele Alli’s career has taken a nightmarish turn. After a rocky end to his adventure with Tottenham, the attacking midfielder had disastrous experiences with Everton and Besiktas. Suffering mentally after reminiscences of his childhood where he experienced many traumatic ordeals, the 28-year-old English international (37 caps) seems finished for the high level. However, some continue to believe in it like Cesc Fabregas.
Currently coaching Como in Italy, the Spanish coach confirmed that Dele Alli is currently training with the Serie A club: “He’s training with us, he’s doing well. It’s a request from the club, maybe next week he will do something separately and something with us. For now, he’s just here to train, and we’re here to help him get back into shape and get him feeling positive again. He was a fantastic player, I played against him many times and if I can help him get back to his level I’m happy to do it.»
