FC Barcelona wants to continue piling up the cracks. While the Masia has been running at full speed for some time with many gems directly from the training center who have made their place in the first team (Pau Cubarsi, Lamine Yamal, Marc Casado, etc.), the Catalan club is now turning towards Portugal and more particularly towards FC Porto which has in the ranks of its academy a player that Europe is chasing.

According to Mundo DeportivoCardoso Varela, a 16-year-old winger considered to be FC Porto’s biggest hope, would actually be one step away from signing for Barça. Born in 2008, the Portuguese U17 international (22 caps, 3 goals) impresses in the youth categories and could therefore take the plunge by joining the Blaugranas. According to Jijantesthe player and his agents even visited the Barcelona facilities alongside Deco at the start of the week.
