The Khéphren Thuram to Juventus Turin saga is finding a solution. After several days of negotiations between the Old Lady and OGC Nice, the two clubs are about to conclude. According to our information, an agreement in principle was reached this Tuesday at noon for the transfer of the 23-year-old midfielder. This agreement comes as Adrien Rabiot has officially left Piedmont, his contract having ended on June 30.

If all the lights are green, there are still some formalities. The French international (1 selection) is expected in the coming days to undergo his medical examination. The total financial amount (fixed compensation and bonus) of this operation is €25 million. While he only had one year left on his contract at the Gym, Marcus’ little brother is getting ready to have his first experience abroad and not just anywhere since he will return to his country of birth.

Kephren Thuram reaches a milestone

Lilian Thuram’s son was born in Reggio Emilia in 2001 when his father was playing for Parma. By reaching this milestone, Khéphren Thuram will aim to enter the eleven of Thiago Motta, the new Turin coach. He will have some competitors in his playing sector with Nicolo Fagioli, Fabio Miretti, Manuel Locatelli, if the latter stays at the club, but especially Douglas Luiz, the star recruit of this summer transfer window, recruited for around €50 million from Aston Villa.

After that, the former Monaco player will be able to think about the French team, he who has only been called up once by Didier Deschamps. To do so, he will have to show greater consistency than he did on the Côte d’Azur. Despite his undeniable qualities, the midfielder has too often blown hot and cold in his performances (29 matches in all competitions this season, 1 goal and 1 assist). He will have to work twice as hard at a top club.
