After a first six months truncated by injuries, young recruit Arda Güler is having a more enjoyable final few weeks with a few appearances. He even scored for the first time with Real Madrid last weekend against Celta Vigo. In addition to his thousands of supporters in his native country, the Turk is starting to attract former Real players. Michael Owen, who started his career very early at 17 with Liverpool like Arda Güler, encourages the midfielder in this direction, even if he has little playing time.
“You get to play in a lower team every week where you can learn, train and play with some of the bigger players. It’s an invaluable experience. (…) Modric and Kroos are not going to last forever, so there will be a real opportunity at Real Madrid in the future for these young midfielders, there will be plenty of opportunities to have a long career there” developed the one who was part of the Galacticos of the 2004-2005 season in the Madrid newspaper A.S..
