Gattuso, the terrible disavowal

Thanked by OM this week, the day after a humiliating defeat conceded to Brest (1-0), Gennaro Gattuso will clearly not be missed in Marseille.

According to an Odoxa survey carried out these days for Winamax and RTL, many OM supporters wanted the departure of the Italian technician, unable to lead his team to victory since January 7 – and a sluggish qualification at the expense of Thionville in Coupe de France – when its end of partition was recorded this Monday.

62% of Marseille supporters in fact approve of the dismissal of Gennaro Gattuso – 56% of football fans surveyed (all sensibilities combined) seeing it as a “ Good choice » from the management of OM embodied by Pablo Longoria.

Gasset, the beautiful coast

As for the decision to entrust the reins of the first team to the experienced Jean-Louis Gasset, 64% of OM supporters are in favor; 60% among football fans. Among Marseille supporters, 58% support President Longoria (40% are opposed to him, 2% do not comment).

Finally, Gennaro Gattuso is not necessarily judged as the main person responsible for OM’s delicate situation this season. Only 16% of fans consider him responsible while 27% blame the players and 44% blame the management.
