Arrests took place before the round of 16 of the Champions League between PSG and Real Sociedad, this Wednesday (9 p.m.).

According to information from RMC Sports, twelve men who described themselves as supporters of the capital club were arrested on Tuesday evening.
This group of individuals claimed to be “ the ultra-right“, again according to the details of the French media, which relays the AFP via a police source. The police suspected these men of wanting to attack supporters of the visiting club before or during the match.
12 men arrested and placed in police custody
The supporters in question were arrested in a street in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, while they were walking. “ These were Parisian supporters claiming to be ultra-right, wearing black neck warmers hiding their faces, shell gloves, pyrotechnic devices“, specifies this source relayed by RMC Sport.
The match kick-off is not threatened. These twelve men were placed in police custody “ for participation in a group with the aim of committing violence or damage“.
