Kylian Mbappé was named Ligue 1 Player of the Month for the tenth time in his career, a record.

The Paris Saint-Germain star was named Player of the Month for October. He beat out teammate Warren Zaire-Emery and AS Monaco’s Aleksandr Golovin in online voting to win the award.

This is the tenth time in his career that Mbappé has received this award, more than Zlatan Ibrahimovic (5), Franck Ribéry (4), Eden Hazard (4) and Javier Pastore (4).

The 24-year-old winger featured in three Ligue 1 matches for PSG, where he scored three goals and provided one assist. He scored twice in the club’s victory over Stade Brestois on October 29.

Parisian midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery, 17, has also been impressive throughout the last month, with two assists in three matches.

This is the 47th time that a PSG player has won this award in the last 20 years. PSG now have a convincing lead over Marseille and Lyon, who have produced 24 and 18 awards respectively.
