Five in a row! This Saturday as part of the 13th round of La Liga, Girona got the better of Rayo Vallecano (1-2).

For the 11e time this season, the Catalans emerged victorious from their duel, winning in Madrid thanks to Dovbyk (42e) and Savio (65e).

The locals opened the scoring with Garcia (5e) but the Gironese did not let themselves be counted on, thus consolidating their leadership.

Before Real Madrid’s match against Valencia in the evening, Girona is five points ahead of its first pursuer Merengue at the top of the ranking. Barça, third, is seven points behind.
