Absent from the group which should have faced Olympique de Marseille last weekend, Rayan Cherki was reinstated by Fabio Grosso for the match against Metz this Sunday (1 p.m., 11th day of Ligue 1).

At the game of hide and seek, Rayan Cherki is starting to be an expert. And if this is the case, it is against his will since it is the choices of his coach at Olympique Lyonnais which cause him to have a series of absences and presences on the match sheets. Last week, Fabio Grosso chose to leave his player in Lyon, while the Rhone team headed to Marseille. A week later, the international Espoirs is indeed back to face FC Metz on Sunday at 1 p.m.

And it’s finally as if he hadn’t missed anything since the match against OM which should have taken place last Sunday, was canceled following the odious stone-throwing of various buses belonging to the Lyon delegation. Hit in the face during the incident, Fabio Grosso changed his mind a few days later and returned to his creative offensive to play against the Garnets. It remains to be seen whether the Italian tactician will have finally found the best way to integrate Cherki into his system, as Thierry Henry was able to do with the Bleuets.

For the rest of the composition of the Lyon group, no surprises to note since if Corentin Tolisso is not present, it is because he is suspended.
