Kang-in Lee could soon return to La Liga, according to an indiscretion from Fichajes.
Kang-in Lee was one of La Liga’s hottest young talents during his time at Mallorca, but he packed his bags from the Balearic club over the summer to join new project Paris Saint-Germain, led by former FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique.
However, the reigning French champions’ start to the season has not been great and Lee has seen his campaign disrupted over the past two months. Injured and selected for the Asian Games, he made only three appearances for PSG.
It could be that Lee returns to La Liga soon, as Files claims that Real Sociedad are interested in his recruitment. The 22-year-old could replace Takefusa Kubo, whose return to Real Madrid has been mooted in recent weeks.
At this point, this operation seems extremely unlikely. Lee is popular at PSG, especially considering the club spent €22 million to acquire him just a few months ago. However, Real Sociedad may well be monitoring his situation for a potential opening.
