Announced as a potential future coach of Naples, Antonio Conte has just stated that he is absolutely not eyeing this position.
The Italian club Naples missed its start to the season. Quite logically, Rudi Garcia finds himself under fire from critics and therefore threatened in his position as coach. The statements made recently by its president Aurelio De Laurentiis are, moreover, not likely to reassure him in his functions.
Conte wants to remain inactive
The transalpine press is speculating on a potential arrival of Antonio Conte in the south of Italy. The salary demands of the former Squadra coach have even leaked to the media.
But it turns out that there is nothing true in what is being said on the other side of the Alps. Antonio Conte is not interested in the job. And he himself assured this through a publication on Instagram. “I hear persistent transfer rumors that link me to important clubs, but I repeat that for now there is only the desire to continue enjoying my family”he wrote.
Conte has been unemployed since leaving Tottenham in March 2023. Previously, he had also coached Juventus and Chelsa.
