Saturday evening in Genoa, AC Milan did well with a goal scored in the money-time and Olivier Giroud as interim in the cages.

Four days after a 0-0 from Dortmund in the Champions League, AC Milan won with some success on the lawn of Genoa (0-1, 8th day of Serie A) coached by Gilardino, a former attacker of the red and black house.

Stefano Pioli’s team scored the only goal of the match in the 86th minute with a half-volley from Pulisic. The action of the American attacker was dissected by the VAR for suspicion of handball.

The rest will be even more intense. Mike Maignan, for an involuntary “Schumacher” on Ekutan, was sent off (90th + 8) before his counterpart, Josep Martinez, suffered an identical fate after a second yellow card for a tackle on Musah (90th + 13).

The last hero on the Milan side is called Olivier Giroud. The French center forward effectively replaced Maignan. Saved by the crossbar on a free kick hit by Gudmundsson (90th + 12), the 2018 world champion authoritatively won a boiling duel (90th + 14), just before the final whistle.

It was well worth a crowd bath from his teammates. Olivier Giroud is definitely full of resources.
