In a joint press release, the Marseille supporters groups persist and sign targeting Pablo Longoria and his politics.

Intimidations and even threats, this is the chilling story from Pablo Longoria to La Provence regarding the outbursts which punctuated the famous meeting between the management of OM and the supporters Monday evening at the Commanderie. Not to mention numerous past episodes, according to the Spanish president of the Marseille club.

This version of the facts, the various groups of OM supporters formally contest this Thursday in a joint press release. The Fanatics, MTP, South Winners, Friends of OM, Dodgers and the Handi Club OM list in unison the grievances they have against the Marseille leaders. During this meeting, according to them, it was discussed:

– “The reason for the termination of contracts of 36 players from the training center, all of Marseille origin, since June 2023”

– “On the oppressive influence that would be exercised by certain agents towards young professional contracts”

– “The silence maintained on the reasons which led the management of OM to reject historic professional players”

– “From the dissatisfaction of supporters with the increase in the price of the subscription justified only by a probable qualification for the Champions League”

– “The recurring presence of certain companies in numerous transfers within the club”

– “Countless changes of coach necessarily causing instability in the team”

All fiercely denying the formulation of “ death threats » or “ threats of violence ” against ” leaders, their families or anyone “. “ We can no longer be silent: we must not confuse intimidation and defense of the interests of our players and our colorsnote the associations concerned. Our cry of alarm in the face of the worrying abuses denounced in particular by the players at the training center and their families cannot serve as a pretext for the possible resignation of the management team which does not seem to want to face its responsibilities. Supporter groups are an integral part of the Club’s history. We would like to thank everyone who recognizes our work, who supports us and who continues to do so. »
