Hugo Lloris looks set to join Lazio after Tottenham said he could leave the club.
Hugo Lloris turns 37 in December, but his career at the highest level is far from over.
The French world champion is set to sign a two-year contract with Serie A club Lazio, according to local media The Gazzetta dello Sport.
Lloris still has a year on his contract with Spurs, but he hasn’t taken part in the club’s pre-season tour this summer. New manager Ange Postecoglou has since replaced him as club captain by Heung-min Son.
Tottenham are not expected to demand compensation for Lloris meaning Lazio can bring Lloris in for free to challenge Ivan Provedel.
