Serie A continues and the astonishing Hellas Verona continues its good start to the season. Facing Genoa, the club coached by Paolo Zanetti waited until the second half for Cameroonian Jackson Tchatchoua to find the net (55th). In the process, Danish striker Casper Tengstedt doubled the lead from a penalty (64th). With this 2-0 victory, Verona climbs to 4th place while Genoa finds itself tenth.

For their part, Fiorentina continue to disappoint. After two draws against Parma (0-0) and Venezia (1-1), the Viola fought back against Monza to snatch a point. Milan Djuric quickly found the gap for the Lombards (18th) before Daniel Maldini put the nail in the coffin a few minutes later (32nd). Moise Kean got Fiorentina back on track before the break (45th) and it took until added time for Robin Gosens to equalise (90th +6). A 1-1 draw that doesn’t suit anyone. Fiorentina are eleventh while Monza are in 15th place.
