Having scored on the first day against Chelsea and scored a hat-trick last weekend against Ipswich, Erling Haaland is already on cloud nine. This Saturday, on the occasion of the third day of the Premier League against West Ham, the Norwegian striker once again proved that he was one of the most prolific strikers in the world of football. Having scored in the 11th minute against the Hammers, the 24-year-old scored twice just before the half-hour mark (29th minute) to give his team the lead again. In the meantime, Ruben Dias had beaten his own goalkeeper (19th minute, own goal).

Ahead at half-time, the Skyblues finally secured another win after the break. Solid defensively despite a post hit by Kudus (51st), Pep Guardiola’s team, dominating on a collective level, maintained their slight lead before the inevitable Haaland struck again (1-3, 83rd). In the standings, Manchester City thus retains the lead with 3 wins in as many games. For its part, West Ham is in 14th place.
