Suspended for four years by the Italian anti-doping tribunal for a positive testosterone test, Paul Pogba had tried to reduce his sentence by justifying contamination by a food supplement prescribed by a doctor in the United States. The approach was unsuccessful, but the French international then appealed this decision, deemed “incorrect” by himself on his account Instagram. While waiting for the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS) to judge the appeal (probably by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025), Paul Pogba is taking some time for himself. He recently traveled to Guinea and even gave an interview to the media Forbes in which he spoke about his future in football.

And precisely, the Italian press has given more indications on the future of Paul Pogba. According to information from several media including SportmediasetPaul Pogba and Juventus could soon be parting ways for good. The French midfielder has stopped following the Turin club on social media, a clear sign that things are moving behind the scenes: his contract expires on June 30, 2026, but the situation has become much more complicated following his four-year suspension imposed on him last February by the National Anti-Doping Authority, after testing positive for DHEA on August 20, 2023. Pogba is currently on minimum wage, but his dismissal could come soon.
