Losc won in Reims this Saturday in the first day of L1 (0-2). Not without worrying about its midfielder Angel Gomes.

Angel Gomes on the ground, unconscious, after an aerial collision with a Reims player – sent off in the process – this is the context in which, after a good half-hour of interruption of play, Losc had to remobilise to go for victory in Champagne this Saturday for the first act of the French championship.

Finally evacuated on a stretcher conscious and transported to the nearest hospital, the English midfielder received the warm tribute of his teammates after Bafodé Diakité opened the scoring in the final moments of a first period flanked by 34 minutes of added time (0-1, 45e+30).

At the end of the match, Jonathan David, well served by Ethan Mbappé, was responsible for salting the score in favor of the Dogues (0-2, 90e+3). A good start for Lille, who are already involved in the European Cup, with a first preliminary qualifying round for the C1 won at the expense of Fenerbahçe. The momentum is there.
