David De Gea could finally bounce back. A year after leaving Manchester United on a free, the Spanish goalkeeper has still not found a club since. However, he is now reportedly in negotiations with Fiorentina over a potential contract. According to the Corriere dello Sportthe former Mancunian would have asked for a salary of at least two million euros per season, with an option to extend for a year.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper is said to be interested in a potential signing in Tuscany and has even rejected several offers from other clubs. Raffaele Palladino, the Fiore coach, has reportedly validated De Gea’s profile and would like to make him his starter for next season. The only problem is that the Italian board has some reservations about the Spaniard’s physical condition, who has been sidelined for almost a year.
